Photograph caption dated December 16, 1960 reads, "Karen Skarrow, left, and mother, Mrs. Alexander Skarrow, 9332 Yoland [sic] Ave., Northridge, knock on neighbor's door for muscular dystrophy drive. On horses are Gilda Wyatt and Col. Charles Weisbaum." Photographed are members of the Canoga Cavaliers, a group organized by Charles Weisbaum. The group, comprised of West Valley youth, taught horsemanship and equestrian discipline, and participated in various community services.
