Description
Photograph of an interior portion of the Northrop Corporation's Hawthorne plant, where the Snark Missile was being constructed, ca.1950. Rows of missile? parts stand in the foreground, and others can be seen leading into the background. A man stands beside the exposed wiring of such a device, at center, while another can be seen working on a dark-colored piece in the middle of the short. The wall of the plant appears at right, and what appears to be a fire exit can be seen in the corner, at left.
