Photographic of portrait of Judge Peterson and R.C. Fryer, 1864. Taken in a studio. One man stands at left with his left hand resting on the right shoulder of the other man who is sitting in a wooden chair at right. Both men wear three-piece suits with bow ties and have medium-length dark beards. The standing man has no moustache, while the sitting man does. Peterson belonged to Los Angeles Lodge 42. Fryer belonged to the Shadra Lexington Lodge.
