Close-up view of the home once owned by James Fielding Cosby, located at 3003 So. Figueroa Street and called by Mr. Cosby "The Crescenta". The photo shows the wide main entrance, a wrap-around porch, a square tower, two chimneys, decorative shingles, and ornamental spindles and brackets. Samuel and Joseph Carter Newsom were the architects. The house was finished in 1887 at a cost of $30,000. Photo dated: ca. 1910.
