In a photo taken for the Pasadena Star News, on April 6, 1955, women pose with kitchen appliances alongside three men at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium (300 East Green Street). The image was ordered by Bill Lines of the Star News (525 East Colorado Boulevard). Documentation provided by the photographer indicates the image was taken of women from a cooking school; these women apparently are winners of some sort of contest.
