Fire fighters put out flames in a home that was destroyed after debris from a mid-air collision between Aerome´xico Flight 498 and a Piper PA-28-181 Archer plane fell upon the Cerritos neighborhood around the intersection of 183rd Street and Carmenita Road. The collision killed 67 people aboard both aircraft and 15 people on the ground. Photograph dated August 31, 1986.
