Description
One pamphlet, copyright 1937, entitled Lettering, A Syllabus for Teaching, by Matlack Price, published by Art Education, Inc., New York, New York. This pamphlet is 16 numbered pages in length, and is illustrated with black and white illustrations and lettering samples. The "title" on the first page reads: "Lettering: its history, principles & practice, by Matlack Price." Above this is printed: "Text for teacher's syllabus to accompany monograph on". This booklet is bound in a blue paper cover; "Mabel Spofford" is written in ms. at the top of the front cover. Words and phrases have been underlined in red pencil (by Mabel Spofford) on a few of the pages.
