Description
"Soavinandriana - hospital" ("Soavinandriana - Hospital"). London Missionary Society was built in the late 1880's. The Medical Mission Academy probably started here at this new hospital by English and Norwegian doctors. The hospital was taken over by the French colonial power in 1896 and was never given back. Hospital complexes in the front. Some of these buildings can still be seen now (2003). In the background we can see the various hills in Tananarive.
