Lower right "Dec. 5 ' 93" On Reverse: "1893 Old house on Kiefer Place. Lesson from Prof. Streight. Mt. View. Helen Robinson". [Kiefer may refer to Kifer] Note: Howard Streight (1836 -1912) was professor of painting and drawing at Chicago Female School; moved to Denver 1870; moved to ranch near Mountain View in 1890; died in San Jose, 1912.
