Several white-robed indigenous nuns are shown working in a scanty garden framed by thatch-roofed buildings. A forest is visible in the background.
The back of the postcard has several lines of handwriting and is stamped and postmarked. Printed in the edges of the correspondence section is "Mission des Filles de Marie de Pesches Bas-Congo." "17. - Les Religieuses dans leur jardin."
