Photograph caption dated August 4, 1962 reads "Bill Henry, left, director of store operations for Thrifty Drugs, gets ready to turn a giant key to open the newest store in the drug chain at Zelzah Ave. and Chatsworth St., Granada Hills. Assisting in the grand opening ceremony Thursday were Miss Barbara Clayton, president of Granada High School student body, representing the community, and Herbert Schanck, store manager."
