Photograph caption dated October 5, 1964 reads, "The Town and Gown Junior Auxiliary of USC and honored new provisionals and scholarship recipients at a tea Wednesday. Serving new provisionals, Mrs. Robert Lee, North Hollywood, and Mrs. George Ochsner, Sherman Oaks, is Mrs. Robert Ellis, president. Other provisionals are Mmes. Jack Coulter and Frank Kostlan, Pasadena, and Rel Schmitt, San Gabriel, and Miss Mary Kaiser, Sherman Oaks. Mrs. Ellis announced that for the first time in the auxiliary's 32-year history an additional scholarship in the form of a graduate fellowship was being awarded. Scholarship winners were Misses Nancy Nuessler and Alice Huber."
