Photograph caption dated May 22, 1965 reads, "The Encino Woman's Club will hold its annual Spring Garden Festival at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in the Northridge home of Mrs. Dominic Amara, garden chairman. The event also will mark the installation of new officers. Discussing plans for the event are Mrs. Amara, left; Mrs. Robert E. Dillon, re-elected president, and Jan Murray, who will commentate a fashion show featuring spring and summer fashions from LeVine's, Van Nuys. Models will be Mmes. Donald Baruth, Mary Chop, William Maschal, Ward Pennington, W. H. Schwebel and Harold Wirthwein. Proceeds from the event, which also will include a silent auction, will be added to the building fund."
