Photograph caption dated July 29, 1955 reads, "Van Nuys traffic officers re-direct Valley traffic from Ventura-Sepulveda boulevard intersection as fire roars through Sepulveda Canyon. West Los Angeles police set up similar roadblock on other side of Santa Monica Mountains, guiding home-bound Valley motorists over Beverly Glen. Normal traffic flow resumed at 1 a.m. today."; See images #00143204 through #00143205 for all photos in this series.
