Photograph caption dated November 8, 1957 reads "Former magazine photographer George Strock, who owns radio shop in Burbank, has devised his own early warning electronic network to ward off burglars. Last October thieves entered and took $1,800 in equipment. Now spotlight shines on sign at night and warns burglars of such trip-devices as hi-voltage and infra-red traps inside. Sign for back door, in fore ground [sic], tells burglars to look at display window."
