Description: When dedicated, June 16, 1969, the Equitable Building was the tallest (454 feet) structure on Wilshire Boulevard. View of the northeast of the 34-story tower and raised plaza of the building. The exterior finishes are concrete and bronze glass in alternating narrow, vertical bays. Located on Wilshire, bounded by 6th St., Alexandria and Mariposa avenues. Architects: Welton Becket and Assoc.
