Charles W. Protzman, Sr. writes Kenneth Hopper saying that it seems Hopper is researching what might be termed the American factory management technique or style, in depth. Protzman states that it hardly seems practical nor appropriate for Protzman to give Hopper an evolution of the training activities of the Civil Communications Section or its sequels in Japanese management circles 30 years later. He recommends that Hopper study some of the published works of men like Kōnosuke Matsushita, who has written many perceptive articles on Japanese management. Protzman goes on to say that he can name several men who have been very active in Japanese management training if he is interested. The letter is handwritten.
