Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on November 4, 1966 states: "A newly completed 17-mile segment of Interstate 5 from south of Anderson to a point two miles north of Redding will be dedicated at 11 a.m. tomorrow. The aerial view looks north across the Sacramento River toward Redding. The ribbon cutting ceremony highlighting the dedication ceremony will take place near the Riverside Avenue intersection, in foreground."
