Description
The Teepee ice cream stand, located on 2nd Street and Covina Avenue in the city of Long Beach, is in the shape of a huge white teepee. It shows a painting of an Indian riding a horse on the left side of the entrance, and a buffalo on the right. A sign between the two images reads: "Fountain", and a smaller, triangular sign below that reads: "Teepee No. 1". Several cars are parked out front, and in the background, two smaller teepees can be seen. Photograph dated January 1931.
