Description
An aerial view of the campus from the early 1950s, the Carjola-designed library is in the center of the image. Numerous World War II era buildings are seen in the lower right corner of the photograph. This photograph also highlights the lack of development in neighboring Isla Vista, with only a few streets and buildings along the top edge of the image.
