Located on Franklin Avenue east of Talmadge St., in the Franklin Hills neighborhood of Los Feliz, the Franklin Avenue bridge is made of concrete and designed in a Gothic style. It is known as the Shakespeare Bridge by locals. In 1974 it was designated Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument no. 126.
