In: Scenes of Santa Clara Valley
In the center foreground is a stump; behind it rises a tree on the summit of Pine Ridge with two other trees just beyond the summit; below is another hill; at the end of this lower plateau is Charles W. Coe on horse; behind the horse and rider is another tall evergreen; beyond on the left are hazy hills topped by trees.

"Scenes on Coe Bros. Stock range. This view is from the table like summit of Pine Ridge at an altitude of about 2500 feet above sea-level." Henry W. and Charles W. owned ranch in San Felipe Valley. Henry added other property over years including Pine Ridge ranch east of Morgan Hill. Eventually Pine Ridge donated by Sada Coe to County, becoming Henry W. Coe State Park.
