Photograph caption dated February 14, 1962 reads, "Mark, 12, and Melvin Smith, 14, have no problems when they deliver the Valley Times Today on their bicycle-built-for-two in Quartz Hills [sic]. One of them pedals and the other delivers. And there are no arguments. They swap positions every day and Melvin, up front in the photo, becomes the delivery boy in back. The boys report they each own their own bikes, but the tandem puts more fun in paper delivery."; See #00111055 and 00111056 for both photos in this series.
