Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on May 28, 1967 states: "For 88 years, the social and economic life of Live Oak centered around this old building which housed a grain mill and barley rolling plant of the Live Oak Warehouse Co. The main warehouse room was used for staging theatrical productions and old-timers recall that both local and visiting performers played "the mill." Owner of the building, L. J. Heenan, said a razing contract will be let soon. the property is leased from the Southern Pacific Co."
