This album nr.241 has belonged to the family of Thomas Joergensen. This album nr.241 starts with picture nr.239 and ends with nr. 344. On page one we can read, "En liten erindring fra lille Sophie 14/11-1900" ("a memory from little Sophie November 14,1900"). Little Sophie was born on November 3,1899 and died on August 27, 1904, only five years old. This album was found by Inger Anne Steffensen during a conducted tour of the oldest "Norges Bank" building in Oslo. Thomas Joergensen served as a printer for the Norwegian Missionary Society in Madagascar from 1897 to 1945 in the capital Tananarive (Antananarivo). He is the creator of this album. - - He started in a building at Ambohijanahary before switching over to the former Lutheran Hospital at Andohalo in 1904. He worked as a printer for 50 years, only interupted by furloughs in Norway. This album A241contains the images NMS-239 to NMS-344
