Description
Photograph was edited for publication purposes
Photograph article dated December 12, 1956 partially reads, "'I picked the San Fernando Valley for my home because of its fine climate, friendly people, good employment opportunities and because I feel it's a good place to raise my children.' This endorsement of the Valley comes from a man whose Navy travels for 23 years took him all over the globe. He is recently retired Commander Jack N. Vinson, USN, who chose 10116 Lanark St., Sun Valley, as the best place on earth to buy a home and settle down with his family."; See images #00146673 through #00146674 for all photos in this series.
