Photograph article dated August 11, 1956 partially reads, "George Damico, 5710 Vineland Ave., North Hollywood, figures he has seen enough water lately to last him a lifetime. After being rescued from the Andrea Doria recently when it collided with the Stockholm in the Atlantic, Damico decided to spend a few quiet day [sic] with relatives in Pennsylvania. A flash flood hit one morning and Damico, along with his sister, was forced to vacate the house. Up until the exciting events of the past few weeks Damico who works in the movies, had lived a peaceful life with his wife and children in the Valley since 1930."
