Original print has vertical crease along middle. Photograph article dated June 15, 1965 partially reads, "The sun came out for charity, and so did the Valley, when the Cadenzas sponsored their annual benefit Day at the Races at Hollywood Park in Inglewood. It was as though the weatherman put in a special order for the event, as the gloomy, cloudy skies of the earlier June days gave way to the brilliance of the sun." Hollywood Park's lakes and greenery glisten beneath the sun's rays as the Cadenzas and their guests watch the horses race by.
