Rum raises hell. Would you pay a man to work for you if he was obliged to keep keyed up by a drink of whiskey every little while during the day? If any man here has reached that stage of the rum disease, we will gladly aid him and his family by assisting him to go to a sanitarium. Intemperance is the worst thing we have to contend with.
