Description
Photograph was edited for publication purposes
Photograph article dated April 26, 1962 partially reads, "A recent firearms demonstration graphically exploded several misconceptions regarding the power of a .38 caliber pistol and ammunition used in police work. Firing tests at the Burbank Police range, rangemaster Ted Lane assisted by officer Bob Steele demonstrated the effectiveness of the shotgun, the revolver, the Thompson sub-machine gun and the .45 caliber Reising gun to more than 100 police officers and spectators."
