Description
A slightly elevated panoramic view of runways at United Airport in Burbank. The photograph was probably taken from the Pacific Air Transport building. The Spanish-style terminal is in the center, with a pair of hangars beyond it, on the left. The parking lot is partially filled with automobiles, and people are walking around the terminal building and on the roads. In the center of the foreground there is a fenced off area with two parked airplanes that have people lined up around them to look in the cockpit. There are rows of three airplanes both on the right and beyond the terminal building. The finding aid describes these airplanes as "military airplanes". Writing in white in the bottom left corner reads "No. 3 Photo by ; F.M. Huddleston ; 4-26-1930".
