Photograph caption dated August 3, 1979 reads, "This is how 11621 Rivera Road in Pico Rivera looked after a bulldozer ran into it. Fred Garcia said contractor John R. Albitre had been arguing with him over $400 he claimed was owed him. 'If you don't pay me that money, I'll smash your house,' Albitre reportedly said. Then, according to a sheriff's spokesman, he drove his bulldozer off a flatbed truck, shoved aside Garcia's pickup (with him in it) and began demolishing what turned out to be the home of Garcia's father, Victor. Damage exceeded $18,000; Albitre was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and malicious mischief."
