Photograph caption dated May 14, 1963 reads, "New officers were installed at the Pacoima Women's Club's 50th anniversary luncheon at the Contessa Restaurant in Panorama City. Accepting the presidential gavel from Mrs. J. Joseph Freedman, retiring president of two years and past postmaster of Pacoima, left, is Mrs. Florn Anderson. A gold motif provided the setting for the installation and installing officer was Betty Chieves, club member and district legislation chairman. Five awards in legislation, status of women, health and welfare, community improvement and American citizenship received at the recent Sierra Cahuenga District convention were presented."
