Photograph caption dated March 31, 1965 reads, "Valley Times carrier Larry Cothran, 15, a student at Monroe High School, is the winner of a 16-volume encyclopedia and a Valley Times-sponsored trip to Hoover Dam for selling 139 new home delivery subscriptions in six weeks. From left are Ben Reddick, Vallep [sic] Times publisher, who presented books; Jim Baer, circulation manager; Larry, and Art Pollack, business manager of Valley Times."
