Image shows view of the Mr. & Mrs. William M. Sutherland residence (foreground), located on Via Horquilla on lot 11 (parcel A) block 1830, tract 7540. View looking northeast from the hillside above houses shows back of the Sutherland home, which is a two-story, fourteen-room stucco house with tile roof, two chimneys and attached two-car garage. The Wilkins residence is visible in background at far right, with oil well of Torrance in distance. The house was later owned by Mr. W.W.
