Hopi men, women and a child dressed in ceremonial regalia, and carrying various items taking part in a ceremonial dance.
Title transcribed from item; misspellings corrected by cataloger. Signed on mount, "Frederick Monsen." Published in series Monsen wrote for The Craftsman, June, 1907. Monsen's typed label on back says: "The beautiful Flute Dance ceremony on the second mesa near the Hopi village of Michongnovi, Arizona." [i.e. Mishongnovi] Same image as (266) - variant crop. Caption on (266) says it is the Antelope Dance.
