A sign reading "Parking, 1 hour, 7 A.M. to 6 P.M." is on the left. "The outline of the building can be seen, along with a shuttered window and a coffee cup. Sardi's, located at 6315 Hollywood Boulevard, was opened in 1933 by Eddie Brandstetter, a well know restarauteur in Hollywood. It was a restaurant and nightclub popular with Hollywood stars. The restaurant was destroyed by fire in 1936. Today the space is occupied by Deja vu Showgirls.; Al Levy's Cafe was part of Al Levy's Tavern, located on Vine Street in Hollywood. Shown is the exterior of Sardi's Restaurant in Hollywood. "Sardi's" is in neon in a large sign near the top of the building. Below that, also in neon and smaller, are the words "Sardi's" and "Air conditioned" just above the entrance, and to the left "Cocktails" above "Blue room." Several other businesses can be seen, including Colman's Watch Shop to the left and Horton & Converse to the right. A car is parked in front of the watch shop. The view is from across the street.
