Description
Back of photo reads: "An English Christmas in the style of Dickens greeted guests at Toll Hall, Scripps College, Tuesday night, December 15. Faculty and staff members and their families gathered in the living room, where a Yule log burned, to hear the story of Christmas read by Victorian Father, Elizabeth Avery to his family - Mother, Barbara Sue Albert; son, Patricia Budd, and daughter, Laurel Barber. Costumed carollers sang to piano and recorder. English plum pudding and coffee were served. Parties were held at all four residence halls and the evening culminated in candlelight procession through the campus to find a hidden Christmas tableau."
