Photograph caption dated December 10, 1956 reads, "'The Annunciation' was title of float entered by St. Elisabeth's Catholic Church of Van Nuys. It depicted Mary, sitting with folded hands under watchful eye of angel. Most of floats were electrically wired and had their own floodlights."
