Description
"Schule der Brüdergemeine" ("School of the Moravian Brethren"). Seventeen pupils sitting on stairs. Behind them an older person (maybe the teacher). Some of them are holding slates in their hands. Two pupils are holding pictures, apparently showing the German Emperor Wilhelm II. and his wife the German Empress Auguste Viktoria. In front of them a board with some Swahilian words written on it.
