Photograph article dated March 9, 1961 reads, "Charles Watts, comedian, character actor and travelling friend of the GI, claims that he can sound more incomprehensible than any mumbling method performer in the business. Reason: he was once a diction coach. At the moment Charles Watts is rushing between two motion picture assignments which are being produced simultaneously. In UI's 'Lover Come Back' he plays the role of an inebriated fun-loving travelling salesman at a travelling salesman's convention; and a politician in MGM's 'Ada,' who runs and wins on a Prohibitionist's ticket."
