Photograph caption dated July 27, 1959 reads, "Following the recent death of her husband, Alfred Steele, Joan Crawford plunged herself into a key role in 'The Best of Everything' offered her by an old friend, producer Jerry Wald. This part - and the company of her twin daughters - are helping Joan build a new life. Here the twins, Kathy and Cindy, visit 'The Best of Everything' set with their twin toy poodles."
