Photograph caption dated July 11, 1961 reads, "The 38,000 residents of Northridge have a new post office this week. The building, at 9534 Reseda Blvd., was officially dedicated Saturday in ceremonies attended by, from left, Bernard P. Piotrowski, Northridge postmaster; Warren K. Branscum, regional real estate officer for the Post Office Department; Nathan O. Freeman, president of the Northridge Chamber of Commerce, and Seymour Mann, chamber member in charge of arrangements for the occasion."
