Description
Intersection of Lovell and Cornelia avenues. F.F. Bostwick, Mill Valley's first mayor, and his father-in-law John Stewart purchased land here at the 1890 auction. Cows from the Throckmorton ranch slept here among other "warm spots" and when he found cowpaths all over the hill, he knew he found the site for his future home (History Walk 1984).
