Title supplied by cataloger. Photograph caption dated June 22, 1980 reads, "The fresh-faced trio may look like your normal all-American types, but don't be deceived. Once on stage they turn into silent, non-human creatures with a distinctly human interpretation of all things abstract and absurd. Shown in a rare pose - as themselves - the mime-masque troupe is surrounded by images of some of their more familiar alter-egos: a wandering cushion (left), a tube worm (top), a masked marvel and a heads-I-win tails-you-lose cube-creature (above left). Jack Honor, Donald VanHorn and Pilar Garcia (from left, above) form the parts of the whole known as Mummenschanz. The three young Americans have inherited the roles originated some 10 years ago by the European Mummenschanz creators: Andres Bossard, Floriana Frassetto and Bernie Schurch."
