Description
A panoramic view of the Monterey section, west of the University of California, Los Angeles, campus. The view faces east, across a street lined with young trees, towards the UCLA campus. There are multistory residential buildings along the street, and a few parked automobiles. In the distance there are playing fields, and beyond that the Men's and Women's Gymnasiums, Kerckhoff Hall, and the rest of the campus buildings. The area just above the horizon has been whited out. PhotCL 470 (127) is a similar view taken from slightly farther south.
