Description: Photograph of the painting "Santa Barbara and the Mission" by George Melville Stone, ca.1900. A woman in a long robe is pictured to the left in the ovoid frame of the painting, holding what appears to be a palm frond or laurel leaf. The domed, two-tiered adobe bell tower of the mission is visible in the valley below her in the background. Rocks and what appears to be an unlit torch are visible in the foreground. Picture file card reads: "Original in the Glenwood Mission Inn, Riverside: 49" x 30"".
