On the right side of the picture a woman (apparently the bride) wearing a white dress and a man (apparently the bridegroom) in a suit and with hat. In the background trees and hills. Ernst Gotthelf Marx, born in 1866 in Niesky (Germany), was a merchant. His missionary work lasted (with interruptions) from 1894 till 1931, and he was stationed in Silo and Zincuka. He died in 1947 in Zeiskam (Germany).
