Title supplied by cataloger. Ingalls’ "List of Negatives" says: "Tobey Riddle or Winema. Full blood in full dress, prominent in War of Lava Beds. Saved the life of Col. A.B. Meacham." Bell negative no. 80. Photographer identification from p. 461, "Handbook of North American Indians, v. 12, Plateau" by William C. Sturtevant, ed.
