This pigment print was made in 2011. It is signed, titled, and dated in pencil by the artist on verso; artist's wet stamp also on verso. The extensive portfolio of photographic artist Carol Westwood (1942-2011), a native New Yorker who lived in Los Angeles for many years, includes a diverse array of subjects: animals, nudes, American and European cities, and portraits. Additionally, she worked on special and still photography for numerous motion picture and television productions in Hollywood; the archive of her entertainment and celebrity images was distributed internationally by Gamma, Liaison International, Stone Images, and Getty images from 1988-2003. Aerial photograph of the Warner Bros. studio, located at 3400 W. Riverside Drive in Burbank, as seen from Griffith Park; W. Olive Avenue runs from left to right across the upper center of the image, Lakeside Country Club is present in the upper left, and glimpses of Riverside Drive and the 134 Freeway are seen in the upper right.
